The office of the Deacon is rooted in Scripture, particularly in Acts 6 and 1 Timothy 3. Deacons are called to serve with dignity and integrity, supporting the church by attending to its physical and spiritual needs.
They fulfill vital responsibilities, including assisting in church functions, supporting the pastor, fostering church unity, and ministering to the congregation by offering care and support during times of need.
